Good Morning Britain has launched The Health Star awards for the best of British healthcare.
If you know someone who has gone” above and beyond” to help others, they’re looking for nominations – although how they’ll ever decide on a winner, who knows?
You can nominate doctors, mental health practitioners, nurses or just ordinary ‘someones’.
There are three categories to nominate in:
- Hospital Health Star – anyone who works (or volunteers) in a hospital;
- Lifesaver Health Star – a person who has saved someone’s life;
- Community Health Star – anyone working in the health service/local community
(You’ll need to be 18 years old or over to nominate, and the person you are nominating must be at least 10 years old.)
The last date for nominations is midday on Friday 11 March 2016, and you can find out more on the GMB website.
